In the Raw debuts at 19th Meredith Music Festival
Cousin Creep's documentary In the Raw about noise band Lubricated Goat's live nude appearance on Andrew Denton's Blah, Blah, Blah program will debut at the 19th Meredith Music Festival this Friday December 11th 10pm at the Ecoplex Cinema. It is screening as a double bill with Frank Grow's The Love God. Lubricated Goat's appearance on the show was a watershed event - it was the first time Australian audiences had witnessed full frontal male nudity on their screens and was a bonanza for radio shock jocks, the tabloids and conservative politicians. Cuz interviews all the main players including Stu Spasm to uncover the real story behind the incident. Meredith is a great venue for the premiere of the documentary with all the films selected having an emphasis on music and subversiveness.
